Whether it be a friend, parent, or your partner; When differences arise in your relationship, your goal is reconciliation, not blame. Learn from each disagreement so it is resolved and not repeated.
Our friends are important influences in our lives. Think about your friendships and their influences on the decisions you've made. What were the outcomes of those decisions? Every so often it is helpful to take an moral inventory of your support system. Which of your friend is an anchor, a lifeline, or a noose?
Anchor- Someone who provides stability but who may hold you back from doing things you would like to do or should do. Lifeline- Someone who is there when you need them. A source of support during troubled times. Someone who rescues you and guides you towards positive things. Noose- Someone who may be good to hang out with but may get you into trouble at times. |
